Screen capture

Hi all i'm new on here, I have a samsung Galaxy S2 which i am thrilled with having had it since september.
However i did recently update the operating system to 2.3.5 and all is good except and this may be just a coincidence I can no longer send screencapture as a message as it saves it as a PNG file not a JPEG.
Its not a biggie just bugging me a little bit any ideas.
