Is there a way for me to take a screenshot of my unrooted Evo 4G? Is there an app for this?

Did you already update your phone to gingerbread? Cause i know the app screenshot it worked on non rooted evos prior to that update.

Then the only one that would probably work is the no root screenshot it app but the problem with that is every time you turn the phone off you need to hook it up to a pc to reactivate the app. So if you do reboots often or turn your phone off for certain things like school or whatever it is not really an ideal app to use then (unless you don't mind having to do the pc thing).

Does ShootMe need root? If not, that's the app to get! It can be configured to take a screenshot when the phone is shaken.

Yes shootme requires root. There may be a select few phones it works on without root like screenshot it did on the evo prior to the 2.3 update
