Shared Calendars - Well almost

Hi,
I have shared calendars working now with other Android users I know but was wondering.
With shared calendars, the event goes off in both phones (if it's two people!)

Can you somehow put an event is someone elses calendar and not have come over to your own phone.
ie. just make it one sided?
