Hi, I received my new unlocked phone from ebay seller and went through start up process. Unfortunately I proceeded with a software update. When I put my sim in later I am asked for a sim unlock code.
The vendor is telling me updating the software invalidates the warranty. I will tackle this with ebay.
What I dont understand is why the update causes this issue?
How easy is it to restore to factory firmware version. And even if I do this will it resolve the issue? ?
