Help slow market downloads

Anyone experiencing slow market downloads recently? My phone has always been pretty quick, but recently downloading an app from the market can take minutes instead of seconds.

I know it's hard to troubleshoot being that everyone's phone is different, but here's what i'm running:

official 2.1 update
astro file manager
launcher pro

those are the only 2 apps that i've added recently. everything else has been on my phone since the beginning of time.

could either of the apps above slow down market downloads?

I have noticed that lately, too. In my case, my phone service keeps cutting out (I will have several bars and the EV one minute and the next minute 1x), so I assumed that was why.

Yeah I noticed it today. Thought maybe I was having data lock issues again.

Well mine isn't slow....
every now and then is plain never downloads.
i wait and wait it says connecting or waiting or some crap.
but if i reboot the phone before the phone is fully restarted the download or downloads are all finished.
i don't get it.

I was having the same thing today. Handcent update took something like 2 full minutes.
