    Hi
I've been thinking about getting SmartQ v5
    DealExtreme: $185.50 SmartQ V5 4.3" Touchscreen Windows CE 6.0/Linux/Android MID Internet Tablet (600MHz CPU/WiFi/2GB)

does anyone own one of these? I would like some thought on these tablets..
my primary usage would be using a painting app hence the resisitive screen factor.. which is a big plus for me over the capacitive..

    probably use "doodledroid" for android..
not sure what painting apps are availabe on win CE or linux..
does linux come with gimp? or something equivalent? that would be super if it actually ran smooth..

what are your thought on these? stylus usage reponsive?
I was thinking about RAmos W7 as well but I've heard these are better.
battery life? I would most likely load up the painting app and maybe listen to music or something while painting on it, preferrably outdoors. how long will it last?

and planning on getting from deal extreme as they offer free shipping but if anyone knows a better shipping alternative to korea, let me know!

    thanks!!

Hi bumskee, try Smartqmid.com. They have a lot of users with SmartQ devices.

I've got a V7 which is a nice 7" screen, but no idea about paint. I tried a few paint apps on the linux build, but similar to MS Paint.
