Help SMS sender names displayed incorrectly

Has anyone had the following problem?

Sometimes when i recieve a text, the drop down notification bar might say its from "Mike" for example, when actually when i go into the text application, it is from my wife or someone else.

Really rather strange.

Anyone else had this, and also is there a fix for it?

I think this may be more of an Android issue, as I had this problem on both the HTC Hero and the Samsung...

I would also add that switching to Handcent stopped it happening to me on both phones =)
