Root Stock ROM for G900W8 and G900H

Hoping someone can assist. I'm new to G5s (coming from G4).

I have phones G900W8 & G900F
I'm hoping to be able to put a good stock, rooted, unbranded ROM on both.
Is it possible to put the same ROM on both?
Any recommendations?

Will I need to trip Knox on these on flashing?

The G900W8 is the 4G/LTE Canadian regional, quad core, model of Galaxy S5 and the G900H is the octa core, non 4G/LTE model. See, 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide. Therefore, you cannot use the same custom ROM on both of them. For details of some of the latest ROMs for these models, see xda developers.

Will I need to trip Knox on these on flashing?

Rooting these phones will trip the Knox security flag. See, [SM-G900*] CF-Auto-Root

I didn't realize the G900H in not a 4G phone. I guess I gotta return that one.
