It's not the phone, it's one of the wireless carriers you're using has a serious server backlog issue, delaying texts for extended periods. There's nothing you can do about it except voice your concerns with your carrier. At which point I'm sure they will blame the senders carrier.
I managed to fix it update my radio and also deleted my smsc number and put it back in and that solved it still having a big problem though i have no 3g anymore i know its a bug but i have to figure that out next.

Sounds like you're rooted and running a non-official ROM. If so, you should really take this to the XDA Developers forums for your specific configuration for assistance as they can provide specific suggestions.
