Help Tasker on Xoom

I am thinking about setting up tasker to turn my 3G off when I get home and turn wifi on. My question is, how much of a battery hog is Tasker?

I am thinking about setting up tasker to turn my 3G off when I get home and turn wifi on. My question is, how much of a battery hog is Tasker?

Does it default to wifi when available? Look in the notification corner, by the clock. When I'm near wifi that is remembered, it shows wifi connection. When I'm not, it shows 3G.

I think that you dont need tasker, looks like its automatic.

I can confirm its automatic. When I get home it immediately switches to Wifi.

I'm not sure if Op wanted to turn 3g/wifi off for battery savings or not... if thats the case then Tasker would be necessary.
