Text Entry

hiya guys...

happy new year, now, when i am composing a text message, sometimes the box of the entry goes larger and goes back smaller, is there a way to increase the text entry box size, say, double tap on it to bring up a whole screen text entry area?

I dont think its possible not even with sms apps, i have used handcent and its pretty much the same, its a crazy size for a text entry, but i suppose to accomodate the keyboard something has to give. You could always switch to landscape mode while entering text that gives you a better size
