I noticed that on the Droid, there is a setting in the messaging that allows you to set how many text messages (per conversation) to keep before they start getting overwritten. Also, you have a choice to not set limits so I'm thinking you can retain every text message sent & received until you run out of card memory.
On the Eris, there is no setting for this.
Is it because it is a new Android 2.0 setting and not implemented in 1.5?
If this is the case, what is the limit in 1.5 or on the Eris? I'm hoping it is only limited to available card space.
