to show multiple screens full of apps

Alternate title : How did I do that?

On the home screen, if I slide to the left or right I can see the gear and dots at the top of the screen. A tap on the gear shows me all my screens in miniature and the option to set any one as "home".

I understand that part.

I was looking at one of the screens of apps (in "grid view") and somehow I got to a similar overview of miniature screens of all my apps. I don't know how I did it (but not the same way).

Any help would be appreciated.

Or you can tap the Home key when you are already at your Home screen.
