I have a small favour to ask of the community. If you have headphones with a mic with buttons (this is important), would you mind seeing if the buttons work on your tablets? The cheaper the tablet the better.
To see if it works, all you need to do is open a music file and see if the play/ pause button actually plays and pauses the music. I believe another test is to open the sound recorder and press the button to see if it starts recording.
If it works, can you post in here with the type of tablet used?
I am looking for a budget tablet that has TRRS functionality to be used with an app which uses the mic input.
