Root Trying and failing to use cygwin on windows to get a nootered sd card

I don't know why, I've used cygwin twice so far to make a nootered sd card but for whatever reason when I try now I get a "device or resource busy" failure when I try to: mount //./c: /dev/sd3

They just figured out how to get market access but it requires a factory reset but if I can't nooter it obviously i cant use it. Googling it was no help. Any ideas? arg!!

i said eff it and booted off ubuntu for the first time ever off a usb drive. whole new set of tricks to learn, sigh

I used winimage to make the imaged sd card in windows. Its whats recommened on the devnooks page now.

yes that seems to be a working solution. ive made myself download and dual-boot linux as an easier alternative
