Hi i have a Telstra HTC Desire which i rooted with latest edition of unrevoked and am using baadnwz HTC HD rom.
Had no probs rooting.Rom gave me an error but went into the update zip sd card in boot menu and it worked...rom is super flawless.
In doing some extra research i am now wondering if i should try to undo the root and return he phone back to telstra stock then make a gold card as i didnt do it before then root again and add the rom again.
    All suggestions would be appreciated

i don't think you NEED to unroot, if you S-OFF you can then flash a stock telstra RUU to return to factory (unroot) without the need for a goldcard. I S-OFFed with alpharev.

    other opinions?

To unroot just flash the stock RUU - it will remove all rooting

You just have to find a Telstra RUU
