Help Use Google Voice for SMS; can't see groups texts w/ iOS users.

Really, 'nuff said. Yeah, I know, there are plenty of apps but I want to do this woithout having to get people to adopt new (to them) software. I know I can use Hangouts and do but hard to get people to download sometimes, especially if they do not use Gmail.

I use a Motorola Droid Turbo, 1st Gen.

A friend with a Samsung device says he participate seamlessly in group chats with iOS.
