    LauncherPro Beta. It's in the market and runs on 2.1 just fine. You lose HTC widgets with it though.

    That's actually a LauncherPro feature. I didn't try that out on the stock Launcher, but it might work.

    What's the letdown? The fps cap isn't related to the ROM itself, it's driver related.
