Due to the high volume of requests for ROM performance scores and generic this and that "what's different about this ROM" questions, I'd like to present a new page to my site Mobile.Tech.Videos - GUIDES & INTUITIVE SOLUTIONS FOR EVERYTHING MOBILE as well as a new thread to Android Forums for Captivate Video based ROM Reviews.

This thread will serve as the OFFICIAL thread for all of my Weekly ROM Reviews for everything CAPTIVATE. Please post requests you'd like to see as well and if I'm capable, I'll create them.

SIDE NOTE: These videos are 100% my opinion and in no way the thoughts and views of the developers or other members of the community. Any bugs incurred, unless mentioned as noted bugs may simply be specific to my device so DO NOT accept them as ROM bugs and listen to when I note them as potentially relating to only my device.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Pretty good.

One comment (also made on your YouTube comments)... The Captivate has different hardware than the i9000, notably the "Audience" voice-processing chip which handles background noise. So it's not a big surprise that using firmware from the i9000 on the Captivate would cause quality issue.

That said... I thought this was an old problem that had been solved long ago. Depressing to see that it's still an issue.

Also, suggestions for reviews would include Phoenix and Serendipity.

Nice. Correction, though: your comment about no haptic feedback on the home button on "any" 2.2.1 ROM is not correct. Serendipity has this now (Mike found a solution), and Adam is trying to incorporate it into the next Phoenix. I'd expect to see it in Perception soon too as Mike's code spreads.

I had continuum running all day, then for some reason it crashed, and I was forced to reinstall a ROM. So I went back to cognition
