When pad is linked to openSuse 11.2, it seems that the pc doesn't recognise sdcard.
From /var/log/messages, I got:

Any ideas why I can't see the sd Card?
Thanks

When I mount the 32GB mSD card in my card reader it works. So it is Android and/or the viewpad who is boring.

Jul 1 23:55:00 earth kernel: [22400.647360] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdd] 62333952 512-byte logical blocks: (31.9 GB/29.7 GiB)
Jul 1 23:55:00 earth kernel: [22400.651990] sdd: sdd1

I umounted it, deleted the partition, made a new partition with a fat32 f.s. on it. Put the card back in the viewpad, connected the USB cable, same error: scsi scan: INQUIRY result too short (5), using 36

For the moment the workaround seems to be to umount the mSD card from the viewpad 7 and insert it in the pc card reader. blech.

Is this pbm experienced more? Someone can help please?

ok, I am very new with android and a tablet phone. When I plugin the USB cable in my Ubuntu PC and I go back to the viewpad I see 2 usb messages. One is about debugging and the second to choose is to CONNECT to the PC. And yep. selecting this gives me a nice file manager over the inserted 32GB mSD card. The viewpad shows a red robot telling I am connected and have to umount on the PC before to continue here..... Thinking about it, this is logic.... case closed. Thanks.
