I recently bought a factory-unlocked unbranded HTC Desire from Brightex (they are the official distributors of HTC in Pakistan). It runs on 2.1update1. I am quite satisfied with it, but there is one thing that bugs me...
HTC rolled out Froyo for unlocked Desires on 1st August. Of course, this roll-out is in stages, but it has been more than 2 weeks now and I still haven't received the update (even when I manually check for it from settings > about > system software updates. :/
So what the heck is wrong? A friend of mine got (who also has a factory unlocked Desire) the update on the 12th. Why is my geek-patience being tested? -_-
