Watch Face Wednesday

LED watchfaces have been done before, but I don't think I've seen one done this well.

For this #HuatchfaceWednesday (and actually a few days now), I'm wearing the aptly-named Real LED Watchface by @marcotronic . What sets this face apart is its realistic lighting and shadow effects. The LEDs aren't just flat glowing circles - they both cast light and block light. The result is pretty impressive.

It's currently a bit light (or completely absent) on customization, but the developer says new ambient mode and color options will be arriving within the next week or so.

I'd trade-in my Gear S2 tomorrow if it (LG Urbane2 LTE) were available.
The U/I on the Tizen is better,IMHO,but,the Android Wear compatibility & ecosystem barely trumps Tizen's advantages.
Still got the Gear2 (who doesn't want an I-R Blaster & camera with their watch,or,am I just crazy?) ,so,losing the S2 won't be too bad.

You may not know this about me, but I have a little bit of a watch face problem...

I've collected so many faces that I can't always make up my mind on what to wear each day. Fortunately, +Sean Grondin has a solution - and I'm happy to highlight it for this #HuatchfaceWednesday.

This is the Sauer Iguana Diver Watch Face by +Fernando Venturim.

While my pictures don't really do it justice, this face forgoes a lot of traditional smart features in favor of a detailed and realistic appearance. You can tell a lot of care went into making everything look just right, and the shadow effects really lend this face a powerful sense of depth. And it's topped off with an attractive and effect ambient mode which simulates how a real watch's face might glow in the dark. (It also comes with a rather large bezel; I'm not a fan of bezels in general, but the developer quickly added a tap action for toggling the bezel at my request. I love supporting responsive devs!)

It includes a cool and unique display format that uses a domino-inspired theme for the hour display, with the minutes displayed above the seconds on the right-hand side (first image). Laconic also offers the option of a more traditional number-based display (second image). Both use the same highly-legible ambient display (third image). All three displays are great for quickly checking the time at a glance, and the high-contrast design looks awesome on the Huawei Watch's AMOLED screen.
