Help What is your battery drain rate on the sensation in idle?

Hi guys,
I just want to check whether my Sensation is draining battery too fast. Currently, if I leave the phone in idle mode (no wifi, bluetooth, 3G), I lose around 1% of battery per hour. I use Current Widget to record the battery usage and my pattern is as followed:

2012/02/06 15:02:43,-102mA,49%,3.795V
2012/02/06 15:10:03,-102mA,49%,3.795V
2012/02/06 15:11:04,-98mA,48%,3.792V
2012/02/06 15:17:00,-98mA,48%,3.792V
2012/02/06 15:28:40,-78mA,46%,3.792V
2012/02/06 15:32:00,-104mA,46%,3.792V
2012/02/06 15:47:00,-104mA,46%,3.792V
2012/02/06 16:01:21,-82mA,46%,3.792V
2012/02/06 16:02:44,-98mA,46%,3.786

I was told that the normal pattern should be around 5-20mA, not in the 100+mA region. I would really appreciate if someone can help me confirm this on your Sensation and show me the battery usage with Current Widget so that I can compare. Thanks a lot for your help.

I wouldn't believe those stats to be honest, the Sensation has a terrible battery reading, so those stats are probably not what's happening. It'll also be why you see your battery percentage jump 2-4% at a time.

I'm running a custom ROM so my battery life will be better and it's also better on ICS but if you're only losing 1% whilst being idle that sounds about right to me.

Battery drain is also such a varied thing, it will also depend on what background processes you have, how many push notifications etc, as long as you've tried all the normal battery saving tips and you're happy with the amount of background processes etc you're running and you get enough life out of it then that's all that matters.

Recently I have been using switchpro widgets timer function to disable all things that drain it over night (as i do not turn it off to charge) I set it to disable WiFi,data, sync and enable airplane mode from 2am to 7am (why leave it turned on to charge at all then you may ask? well if i wake in the middle of the night I do not want to wait 5 minutes to boot up) and things seem to have improved for example I can leave data and sync on all day (turning off though as I drive due to radio interference with my FM transmitter [not a huge issue]) and Power efficiency turned off and I can get home at 5pm with still a good 80% battery, that is of course with light use. If i decide to watch an XViD or MKV on my lunch break you can reduce that number to about 60% at 5pm.
