Help Working FM Radio Question - Functional App?

Has anyone had any luck getting an app to work that allows the phone to act like a true FM radio (not internet radio)? I've tried a couple of the different ones that I found online, but have had no success so far. I've never rooted a phone before and most likely won't just to get this working, but wanted to hear if anyone has had any luck getting this to work in general.

I've read that the D4 doesn't have an FM receiver in it.

the motorola fact sheet says it has an FM radio
DROID 4 by Motorola Fact Sheet - Fact Sheets - Motorola Mobility, Inc.
interestingly, it left out the GSM bands it clearly has available in it,
FINALLY! GSM on DROID 4!!! IT WORKS!

I'm having the same problem. I thought it was because I am in europe and don't have cell service.
That's too bad

It is. I wish these carriers would maintain their networks better.
