I have emailed Sony last week about the x10
here is what they put, strange too as I did put my name on the contact details
Dear Unknown,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson support centre.
Unfortunately we can confirm that these are all simply features of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 handset.
However we have passed your feedback regarding this on to the relevant department for you.
With regards to the operating system, we can confirm that this will definately be kept up to date and will be updated to the Android 2.1 operating system in the near future.
We can also confirm that when installing applications, these will automatically be saved on to an SD card inserted in the handset.
