Help Micro USB Orientation

Can one of the few of you who has a Droid X let me know the orientation of the Micro USB port?

I'm thinking of getting a right angle (or left angle) micro usb cable and I want to make sure I get one where the cable runs down towards the bottom of the device.

I'm pretty sure that the Moto Droid and the HTC Incredible are oriented differently.

Which way is the X's?

basically the same place as the incredible.

Not the location, the orientation. In other words, which way does it plug in?

It's my understanding that the original Droid and the Incredible Micro USB ports are 180 degrees different from each other.

I need to know which way the X's is.

Looks like it is identical, in orientation to the Incredible.

Honestly, I'm not sure I can tell from those pictures. The ports look a little different even.

Also, remember the droid is on it's back there and the X is on it's face.

I kind of think they look the opposite orientation.

Anyone know for sure?

I was wondering the same and like most said, it looks to be the same as the Inc.

I ordered this as I wanted the downward orientation (read reviews also for info):

From the picture it looks like the smaller side faces the front and the larger side faces the back.

It charges at 5.1volts @ 850mA and in order to have the wire lead toward the bottom of the phone, use a left-angle wire. Here is the place to get them that I have found so far:

That site is expensive.

I got a 6' startech cable at buy.com for about $11 shipped yesterday.

It's the correct orientation.

I ended up buying it off of Ebay for $7.50 shipped but it came from hong kong and took two weeks to arrive.
