Obsessed with Evo many times more than iphone

I owned the 1st gen iphone, and the iphone 3gs. When I first got the iphone, i knew it was revolutionary, but i never obsessed about it, I even waited after a month since it launched before getting it. The honeymoon period ended probably within 1-2 weeks, although i was still perfectly satisfied by it.

Then 2 years later, I grew sick and tired of the slowness of the iphone edge network, and various other tasks, so i preordered the iphone 3gs. I was happy with the 3gs, but HSDPA never came, and not only that, they couldn't even get regular 3g/voice stable.

For the EVO, i was lusting for it 3 months before it came out, searching for "evo 4g" everyday on google and youtube. Now after 1 month of owning evo, i still occasionally search for evo 4g information. The honeymoon period still have not ended yet, and I'm still mesmerized by the device. I guess I loved the small border/bezel with large screen before the phone was even ever designed, it was something i wanted ever since I got the first gen iphone. I even submitted my feedback to apple for a higher resolution, and larger screen 3 years ago. Knowing apple will never design based on my feedback, the EVO came to the rescue and was a dream come true. I wanted a large screen so badly that I almost even got the HTC HD2, but I waited for the android version instead. I was going to wait for the windows phone 7 version, but I soon realized windows phone 7 is heading the wrong direction (not open), and thus I know the future is android.

Evo Longoria and I are still in our honeymoon! :D

I think I play with my EVO more than I do with my GF at this point. lol
I actually picked up the HTC HD2 after I bricked my iPhone 3G by accidentally updating the firmware. DOH! I liked the HTC HD2 because of the big screen and what not. But when I got to the meat of the phone, then WinMo 6 or whatever popped up at me and it was the ugliest thing I had seen since Windows 3.1

I'm loving my EVO ever and find myself messing with it throughout the day. Yep, the honeymoon for us is still going on strong. Will probably even continue more so when FROYO comes out!!!

never owned or wanted to own a iPhone, but I agree 100% with the rest of your post...
The phone is not even that big. Reviewers make it seem like it is this hulking device, but it fits perfectly in my pocket with no issues.
true, the phone is nice sized IMO...

I've had my beautiful Evo a little over two weeks, and there is nothing I don't love about it. My Evo has become my constant companion and has done everything I've asked of it.
I have small hands (if I stretch, I might hit 5 feet, 1 inch), and I don't find the Evo cumbersome at all. When I got my Evo, I gave my Hero to my son, and it just looks miniscule to me now.
No complaints here...nothin' but Evo love. :D
