You should panic! My friend works at Verizon and they have been told that their store and about 20 other stores in the Chicagoland Area is only getting one per store! And I'm in downtown Chicago, a huge market. I would expect the stock to be limited in many other places as well. Seriously ONE PER STORE!

In in Chicagoland and I've asked 3 stores and have been told 20-40 units. I'm going to stop by the one I am buying from and just make sure everything is 'aookay'

That doesn't make sense. I live in small town America and my local verizon store has confirmed they have 20 phones already with 10 or more on the way for tomorrow.

That doesn't make sense. I live in small town America and my local verizon store has confirmed they have 20 phones already with 10 or more on the way for tomorrow.

I didn't think that made since either. But as I said this is coming from someone I know personally in the company. I doubt he would lie. Maybe the newer stores aren't getting as many. I know he is managing a few stores that recently opened so hopefully thats the reason.

I just got a call from one of my local stores to remind me they would be open an hour early tomorrow and they will have about 30 units in stock.

I read the Boy Genius Report and I seriously hope the comment I read about Verizon restricting 1st day purchases to those upgrading only is total BS. I'm going to be very upset if I stay up until 12:01 a.m. to order this and I am denied because I am purchasing at retail.

I guess the good news is I doubt seriously most folks qualify for an upgrade that will be purchasing this phone since they already probably own a new Android device.

Please tell me I can get this phone tomorrow at retail?
