screen wont rotate

My EVO screen won't rotate back to portrait from landscape. Auto rotate is on. That labyrinth game teeter doesn't work either, the ball only moves side to side not up and down.
Everything is running crazy slow too.

What is wrong with it?

Stupid question, but have you done a battery pull with the phone on?

I have never even removed the battery

you mite need a hard reset, but thats the last resort.

That's dangerous! Try resetting your G-sensor first.

I bet your calibration is wack, for some reason.

Reset your calibration:
HOME>MENU>SETTINGS>SOUND & DISPLAY>G-SENSOR CALIBRATION (very bottom)

Then place the phone on a FLAT surface and press calibrate. Hope that fixes it.

And, make sure that Orientation is checked-ON. I know you said it was, but check again. It's the little things that get you.
