Root Windows can't recognize adb shell?

Just rooted my Eris and am trying to delete some of the useless stock apps. And whenever I go into cmd and enter in adb shell, it says "adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file". My phone is plugged in and I have USB debugging on.

Help please!

Did you run "cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools" first?

Yea I realized i needed to do that right after I posted this thread, kinda feeling like an idiot now ha but thanks for your help anyway.

No problem. It can happen to anyone. On a side note, be careful with what you remove. I can't remember which ones, but some apps are linked into others and can cause problems if you take them out.
