people on Orange with higher bills then expected?

I have looked on my online account and i can see 9p below every text ive sent. The thing is, it isnt ticked on my settings on my phone so i dont no why they are charging me. Do i need to call them up to de-activate that setting?

Whats the app called that you can check your usage?

Now i no why everyone said orange was a pricey network!

Not in my T&C's been on an orange contract for over 4 years, never had a new one for any renewals
Been around as long as the animal plans have.

I turned mine off when I was with orange after they mass text'd everyone about the change. Not been for orange for 2.5 yars, and was only on one animal plan which was dolphin 35 18 months. Making this charge around for approx 4 years.

Just about all networks charge for del reports - about 1p a text.

Can't see the point in them. Once its sent, its sent
Not quite.
It's sometimes useful to know that a message has been opened - and presumably, read - at the far end.
Think of it as confirmation of receipt for a "signed for" postal package.

Otherwise you have no way of really knowing if it physically arrived at the destination, short of asking - but since you're likely to phone and ask, it would therefore have been a bit pointless sending the SMS in the first place. :D

Bloody shame that Orange charge for them though...

Yes, I have the same.It is not 9p. It is 0.009, which translates to just under 1p. Mine though was activated. I have now deacivated it and I hope the 0.009 charge will stop
