Help Droid/Milestone differences?

Is there any reason this wouldn't work on a UK milestone?

If its possible im willing to take a risk on it. Would i be advised to backup what i currently have first? How would i do that?

These are very similar phones, but still different. Droid uses US bands and Milestone UK uses European bands.

not all of them. the telus milestone uses the US 3G bands, but the difference is that the droid runds CDMA, and the milestone uses GSM. There are a few differences with the milestone, specifically the GSM vs CDMA of the droid, and the locked bootloader for the milestone, making it impossible to run custom roms. Roms loaded onto the milestone have to be signed by motorola in order to work.

Someone, somowhere surely is. We will see if they succeed or not. Not that I need cooked ROMs, the official ones are good enough for me.

-Milestone is 3G,droid is not.

These thing I know,that milestone is better in,there might be some more.
