Boxwave Droid X screen protectors now shipping.

ClearTouch Crystal
Droid X Screen Protector / Motorola Droid X Screen Protector / Droid X Invisible Screen Cover / Motorola Droid X Screen Cover / Droid X Screen Film - ClearTouch Crystal

ClearTouch Anti-Glare
Droid X Anti-Glare Screen Protector / Motorola Droid X Screen Protector / Droid X Screen Cover / Motorola Droid X Screen Cover / Droid X Screen Film - ClearTouch Anti-Glare

I originally wanted these for my X, but they weren't available at launch.
I got the ClearTouch Crystal for my Incredible and let me tell you, the fit, clarity and feel was amazing.
Application was quick and painless.
The boxwave screen protector almost literally melted onto the screen.

I bought a pack of Steinheils, two come in a pack.
I have to replace my Droid X, due to the .604 update really taking a toll on performance as well as bugs, SOOO,
I gave my spare Steinheil to my brother, he received his X today.
I plan on ordering the Boxwave ClearTouch Crystal this time around,
I had such a great experience with BW on my Incredible.

Anyone else going the Boxwave route?

Really? No one going to grab these?

It's between Boxwaves and Nushields. I've had Boxwaves and they are the BEST EVER. BUT I heard good things about Nushield as well so I was thinking of getting some for my Samung i730 and seeing how it is, but I'll likely go with the Boxwaves for my Droid X.

BTW I got the Droid X InvisibleShield set from Best Buy on release day, for the body and screen, and they sucked as much as I remembered on my other device. Lots of drag on the screen when you move your finger on it, and a nice disturbed feeling watching someone spray water based solution on your brand new device at Best Buy as they applied it to the DX.

Boxwave 4Life lol.

Had one on every device I've owned for the past few years- my last Blackberries and 3 DSLRs- THEY ARE PERFECT!!

Coverage area is always spot-on perfect, static cling work 100% perfect, and application is easy enough compared to other protectors. And it's a good crystal clear, not just partially-clear like some others.

Also, reduces smudges and protects great. Btw, get the crystal one, not anti-glare. Easy to remove and re-apply after months too with no liquids or weird application tools, they really do last, I swear.

The fact the boxwaves are reusable, is a huge selling point...
not to mention the clarity with the crystal.
The fit is also top notch.
Application couldn't be easier.

Too bad companies like boxwave and/or steinheil don't work out a deal with verizon to be sold in Verizon stores.
This would help ensure customer satifaction,
I was definitely let down by the VZ brand screen protectors,
They are always junk.

Boxwave AGs are very blurry IMO....at least the one I applied to my iPad. Customer service was poor....their webpage talks about the importance of customer satisfaction/guarantee for their products. Then, later on in their faq, they say they will not refund any shield that has been applied. I complained and they set me an uncut clear shield which I ended up throwing away. BTW, it's easier to throw away phone shields as they are much cheaper than iPad shields.

I installed instead a NuShield AG on my iPad. It is not a matte and is very clear. It's the first AG I've tried that does not blur. It does have one issue though....fingerprint magnet. And not easy to clean without some kind of solvent/microcloth. Still happy with it though. Don't think they have an AG shield yet for the X.

I finally got my Boxwave Clear Crystal protectors a couple of days ago. Installation was pretty easy and I have to say I'm blown away by how good my screen looks now. I had been using the crappy Verizon ones and after changing to these it's like night and day. I can't even tell I have a screen protector on it's so clear.

When I first installed them the tactile feel of the screen was a lot tackier than the verizon ones, ie not as smooth to move your finger across the screen. But after a day or so that went away and it's super smooth now. So glad I decided to try these out.

I've never used the Steinheil ones so I have no idea how they compare but I can't imagine them being any better than the boxwaves.
