Root Updating help

Rooted my phone about a month ago.

It came up saying there was an update available the other day but when I tried to update it came up saying it was backing the phone up then that errored it went to the update screen with the green thing then a red question mark came up, the phone rebooted and it hasnt updated.

Anyone any ideas why its not working or whats going wrong?

With your phone rooted you can't update OTA, you have to unroot first.
Word of advice though, if you unroot & upgrade to froyo OTA you can't undo it afterwards.
goldcard, one click rooting etc all fail.

ah ill be ignoring that update then haha.
