My Task bar scrolls so I just changed it before every picture haha.

Rate me and give me some suggestions. I'm not quite satisfied yet!

What "Word of the Day" Type Widget or Feed is that? Very cool...

I'm surprised by the lack of information you guys have on your screens. lol

I need all sorts of info on mine. I can't just stare at a blank screen.

Haha! Well, I just like to keep my home screen plain. When I click the clock it takes me to AppAlarm Pro. The weather stuff can take me to WeatherBug Elite. So there's more info there when I need it.

But the other screens are more useful. Here's my friends screen.

And here's my entertainment/social media screen.

loving the icons, layout looks great. care to share the icon pack?

It's not an icon pack. The dock icons are custom made in Photoshop. I snagged someone's plain text icons and used that as a template. Pretty simple, once I figured out the size and transparency details.

Enjoy!

First time poster and I apologize if my questions are on a post that I missed.

1. I am not rooted. I am running ADW Launcher and love it. What I cannot find that I see on other screen shots is a numerical indicator of new emails / text messages that you would get on the default Sense UI.

Is there a setting that I am not enabling?

2. I checked the box to make ADW my default launcher. I also downloader Launcher Pro and have the Sense UI (of course). When it was unchecked and I would hit the home button on the bottom of the Evo, I could choose which launcher. How can I switch back to a different launcher?

Thank you for any and all information. This thread is so useful.

An example would be

1. ADW doesn't really give you that functionality....the ability to see how many missed calls you have, new texts or emails....LauncherPro, does however.

2. Download a little app called Home Switcher, it's a life saver :)

I downloaded some text icons onto my mac, put them on my phone via drag and drop to SD and they show up in my gallery.... I used them for the dock and after a few hours they return to the stock launcher pro icons.... any ideas on how to keep them on my dock! its only the first dock screen too.. if I scroll the rest stayed modified as text

this was just answered earlier on this page, but here you go...

and to piggy back, you have to change the shortcut before the new icon will stick.

for example: the launcherpro phone icon - long press > change shortcut > applications > then choose the phone
after that, you will get a new screen to change the icon.
(i hope all that made sense)

i didnt do the above and i kept loosing my icon for my phone. now that ive done the above, my icon has stayed!

Speaking of this notification thing in LP, did anyone else have problems with it? I disabled it because sometimes it would show that I still had something new even after I had say, checked it in Handcent. So I'd have to go in twice sometimes to get the indicator to clear. It seemed redundant anyway because I already got notifications in the task bar.

Phone and email notifications have been fine for me. However I have noticed some problems with the SMS notifications too.

Typically the best way to get rid of the dock notification (for me at least) is to go through the notification bar and click on the received SMS. If I just click the dock icon/notification it's hit or miss as to whether or not it'll count the text read.

Hopefully this will get fixed sometime....

Didn't feel like jumping through all the hoops to take a normal screen shot using the non-root method. So I pulled out the camera. This is what I have so far after 2.2 OTA and a factory reset...

When in my car, my screen automatically changes to this Launcher Pro desktop (single screen)-

(Except the browser Icon is now different)

Then it rotates to landscape in my car mount-
