Downgrade to Facebook 1.2 because Facebook 1.3 keeps phone awake

I've used the Facebook 1.3 app extensively since it came out and my phone has no problems sleeping and battery life hasn't been affected in any way.

I was wondering why I was suddenly seeing massive drops in battery levels overnight. Thanks for posting the link to the orig story, I was about to do the same. Hopefully FB gets their sh!t together & rolls out an update... stat.

Same here - zero sleep time with 1.3 installed. It took me a few hours of trial and error to isolate the problem.

Easy way to test - Go to settings > About > Battery and look at the awake time. Now turn your screen off and set it down for a few minutes. When you turn it back on and look at the awake time again, it SHOULD be pretty much the same as when you turned the screen off (i.e. it shouldn't advance the full X minutes that you left the phone sitting..."asleep").

Experienced the same thing, massive battery drain right after i installed, but the problem went away after I turned my phone off and on again. Actual shut down not sleep. Only problem I have is it FCs every time I hit the Friends button.

Anyone notice the insane amount of data the FB app accumlates? I was in the managing applications settings and it already had over 4mb of data!

I believe logging out will clear that, but it's only been 2 days!

I do hate that you can't clear the data w/o having to log out. Oh well.
