Hey,
New here but have been checking these forums everyday for weeks now in the wait for my HTC Desire to arrive. AND TODAY IT DID.
Only down side to this, I am now sitting here waiting for the initial 3 hour charge to finish, so I thought I'd ask a few questions about the device (to those of you who already have it) so I can get the best out of it in 2 hours 38 minutes time.
1) If I manual add all my contacts can I immediately link them to facebook accounts, or do I need to incorporate all facebook contacts when I first start the phone up?
2) Is Friendstream any good, or will it become cluttered, I worry it will and I am thinking i'd rather use separate Facebook and Twitter clients.
3) If I do use separates, can I set Twitter to update manually and facebook once every 30 mins for example, or do they have to be on the same update settings.
4) Will updates every 30 mins drain the battery a ridiculous amount? I would like the phone to last morning to night without the need to charge as I am not always in.
5) Any must-have free apps?
6) Any general advice based on your experience?
Any responses to these questions would be awesome, all of you guys have helped me decide that this phone is for me and I would love your input on how to get the most out of this incredible looking handset.
Thanks guys,
Chris
