Hello all,

I did a live wallpaper based on a stereographic projection.
With a lot of options, quality, rotation mode, pick any image from your sdcard...
Optimized to save the battery !

I liked this until I realised it was running in the background capturing the multi-touch inputs when I wasn't on the homescreens.

I noticed it because the apps menu really started to lag and I noticed each time I went into the apps menu and moved around then returned to the homescreen the wallpaper had changed position

Yes if you run the "orientation" mode then it's still running when you open the 'menu app'.
It's not specific to my wallpaper, it's just because the 'menu app' does not hide the wallpaper (that's what a google employee told me), you can see the same lag effect with any 3d live wallpaper.

But with (almost) any other apps the wallpaper stops running when it's in background.

I had it set to the default pinch zoom mode and it was running during the menu app

Maybe it was a one off and i'll try it again.

(I couldnt find the Coligmo guy's wallpaper a few threads down, maybe see if it's the same solution?)

PanoPlanet 1.6 available !

• Distorsion level setting
• bux fixes
• triple click to set the selected rotation in the current screen (in screen mode)
• multitouch improvements
• long click in browsers to see panorama preview
