Root Still no CM6 Wimax?

It's because the developers don't have the necessary drivers to make it work right on ASOP. Since the EVO is the only 4G phone and it includes sense, 4G probably would not work right if you use those drivers so they have to be developed from scratch.

P.S.: This is the same reason it does not have HDMI and FM.

No, because CM6 is not based on the OTA or any sense based ROM for that matter, it is purely AOSP. I hear that they may have it done for the next release but who knows...

I believe CM6 is based on the NEXUS ONE Froyo and because the NEXUS ONE isnt a 4G device and they based the ROM around that base its not gonna be that simple to implement it

Right now cm6 is like a beautiful one-legged woman. You don't want to kick her out of bed, but it sure would be nice if she had that other leg

CM is built entirely from open sources. There is no open source wimax driver at this time and they v are coding it. They have said it won't be available until 6.1.

Wimax or not there's no match for such quality building ROM. No need to try any other ROM.
