Accessories 3000 mah Chinese battery review

I'm at 3:14hrs uptime 2:10 awake and it just went into the yellow. I'll charge this one a few more times and see what happens, but I'm thinking this particular battery is bad. The 2nd battery is still charging and its been in the charger for over 3hrs so that is a better sign then the one I am using. I really hope that one is better than this one. I just ordered that yooboa one since the Seidio from overstock is probably a generic and will be going back.

Yes It should. I have one that is identical and it works for all the stock oem batteries, the 1500mah Chinese, the 3000mah Chinese and my Seidio3500mah. I just order 2 more today from someone on Ebay that looks the same. I think they were 2.89 and free shipping.

sorry i think that one is dead it should take a very long time to fully charge

Evoli.. Do you have an app like battery status pro on your phone that will tell you how much standby time the 3000mAh battery gives you at 100%. I would be very interested in knowing the rates it gives. its a free app from the market.

yes ultimate juice and juice plotter, i also use set cpu, fresh evo rom and kingx kernel im over clocked to 1152 so it really varies with me slow day big numbers youtube day still pretty good numbers i will try to post on monday as that will be more typical than the weekend maybey i should do one a day? for a week? to get a real feel for it and out of the three 3000s i have one does stand out as a best preformer ,battery time will give you the pic you need i'll start with that

Yeah that will work, i purchased a few 3000mAh off ebay and they both gave me the same 100% reading as my stock (basically they were 1500mAh's). Can't wait to see how your battery reads at 100%.

Anyway my 2nd 3000mah battery charged in 3:45. How long does it take the rest of you to charge yours in the external charger? That still seems kind of short.

Im charging my Seidio 3500 in an external charger....this is the second cycle and it has been charging for 7 hour. And the overstock batteries are not Seidio. Here is a thread.

I just got off the phone with overstock and they said the battery is 2000mAh and that the photo is incorrect.

Thank you. I haven't ever paid attention to how long my seidio takes to charge because I always charge it night.

And CRAP that sucks about overstock.It will be going back.

SMH.....Thats kinda of a big deal i dont know how they could make a mistake like that.....

32 Bucks for a 2000mah? HA.....My Battery gave me 9 hours today unplugged....76%.......This battery is the undisputed champ when it comes to cost efficiency.....

Can you do a test as well, to see what the stanby and talk times are at 100% charge using an app like battery status pro?

+woke up @ 645am
+still charging

waiting for my yoobao too... also purchase a real cow leather from them, i've contacted them concerning the quality of leather because of low price. They said the same case is selling @ $30 in UK local online store lol.

Just tested my Yoobao in the external last night to see if there was something wrong with yours and lo and behold..

plugged it in @ 1130pm
+woke up @ 645am
+still charging
+stopped charging @ around 730am

My experience with the Yooboa 3000 battery and charging with an external charger has been that the first time it took less then 4 hours and the second time it was on the charger for over 8 hours and supposedly wasn't charged but I took it off the charger and put it back on and the light immediately turned blue and the battery ran for 10 hours and I only used 50% of it's capacity. So I'd say that anything over 4 hours and the charger is probably not telling you the battery is really already charged. I had that happen with another 1500 battery and so now I just take the battery off and put it back in and see if the light goes from red to blue and in every case it has. Though it's only happened 3 or 4 time. In my opinion, just cheap chargers.

Ah ha you reminded me.. the batteries usually come charged up to 60 something %, which is probably why it took only 4 hrs or less to charge the first time.

Sucks about Overstock, but get to keep it and get a full refund. Guess can't complain too much. I still wanted the 3500mah batter though. Now, guess I will order the chinese one. Can I order that anywhere other than Ebay? Don't have a paypal setup at the moment. Also, link to the 3500 mah one instead of the 3000 one... anyone?

I bought ebay one for 10 bucks with 2 extra batteries. It does take forever to charge. But this one you posted a link to says it goes to 45% in minutes and 85% in 45 minutes. My ebay one takes hours. Also I am wanting this has anyone used this?

I had one for my TP2 that I liked but the ones for the EVO that I've seen aren't just AC plug ins you need a usb plug also and I don't remember the one from my TP2 being like that. But I am tempted to buy it and the wall charger for 3.99. But I have 4 batteries and there always charged and I always have mine plugged in at home work or in car so I never really have to swap out batteries that often and when I do I let it charge over night while sleeping in the external and then I'm good. But this charging cradle seems nice. And for 3.99 having an extra battery charger you can't beat the price. I was just wondering if it really charged faster then the one that I got off ebay.

Went to work around 9:00 am and used the phone as a media player the whole day, did a little facebook, checked my mail, did a few calls and a few txt messages, and at around 7:00pm I still had 77%...

I did notice one battery will hold less charge and that it would be around 50% with the same usage as above. But any battery that will last the whole day will be fine with me.

Thank you for updating us. I used my 2nd 3000mah last night (the one that charged for a longer period of time) and it lasted a lot longer then the first one. I turned off the following- background data, enable always on mobile data and auto sync. I was able to stream 2 movies and I still had some battery left. That was only after one charge in the external charger so I'm hoping it will only get better.
Also I charged the other 3000mah in the phone last night and removed it on green and put It in the external charger and it charged for another 45 min until it showed full charge. I am also trying to leave these on the external for a couple extra hours just like Seidio recommends for theirs.
