Hello there,

I've noticed that one of my friends on their contact picture has lost the little Facebook icon overlay and that syncing with Facebook wont bring it back.

Their contact picture has been replaced by another blurry pixellated picture.

Can anyone help to get it back synced with Facebook?

Thanks!

EDIT: Further to this, I notice that the actual contact picture in Facebook for HTC Sense is borked and pixellated. Anyone seen anything like this before?

yep, its defaulted to the gmail contact picture that gets uploaded to google after facebook sync.

I dont use HTC People anymore, but when you go into a contact and edit it, I think if you touch the top photo or near the name, you can select which picture to use.

If it defaults back though, this is the issue I had and never fixed.

Yes, it defaults back to the Google picture then in that case.

If you don't use HTC People, what do you use?

I don't even have a HTC version of Android on my Desire anymore. I have vanilla android, running stock android contacts with launcherpro as my replacement to htc sense.

One thing you could try (which is annoying but may work), turn off google contact sync (you can always turn it back on weekly to sync back) and remove the additional picture from the contact (the google one) and see how that turns out.
