Use a programe that requires Java

Work staff planner is a programe called Kronos, this requires Java to run fully. Can I get Java on the Desire so that it will allow me to run Kronos? Any thoughts would be appreciated as I need to be able to access this from the phone.

I'd also be interested in knowing if there is an answer to this for internet banking - tho from what I've read online I don't think it can be done

I have a feeling they dropped it, i did send am email about it last week as ive only just started using android and used to use the monilink app quite alot, but have had no reply
