Man, I really wish they would have added an option for "select all" for batch deleting.

Am I the only one seeing that sync doesn't seem to be working since installing this new Gmail? I have to hit Refresh in order to see new mail. Didn't have to before this.

Just sent myself an e-mail and it showed up on my phone after a few seconds.

For me, when I get the notification and then try to open new mail, it goes to the older mail that has already been viewed.

It took a solid minute to finally show up after I received the notification.

I believe you need to have 2.2 for push to work on the new gmail app. 2.2 is coming out tomorrow for Droid X. From what I've read, you can install in manually instead of waiting for the OTA. I recommend you wait a day, install 2.2 and then install the new gmail app.

I am running 2.2
I can't even find it in the market. I have searched for "google" and "gmail" and it doesn't show up.



As an aside, I think those without 2.2 can still see it but can't install, right?

When I click on your link I get a 404, File Not Found error.

The image and Blog post you linked to don't work for me either. Blogspot is blocked in my country.

UPDATE: The google help center has posts from other users who have the same issue. It seems to countries outside of Europe and the US that cannot get the APK. People from countries other than mine have the exact same issue.
