Is there any difference between the leaked 2.2 vs. the official 2.2?

I just wanted to know it there was any differences. Is it worth rolling back to 2.1 and downloading the official 2.2 that was released OTA?

Difference between the two for me....the leak worked flawlessly, with the ota, almost all of my apps have force closed at least once, inluding the stock browser shin now takes on average 3-4 attepts to open. The keyboard is still laggy. And I went from 40% battery to a dead phone in less than 2 hours last night without using it at all. Im very tempted to go back to the leak...

I've had the opposite outcome concerning battery life. Prior to the ota, I was getting about 16 hours of life out of my battery (100% down to 0%). SBF'd yesterday morning and performed the upgrade. Unplugged around 9:00am at 80%. Was amazed this morning when I woke up to 30% still remaining after 21 hours. (over 3 hours listed on battery manager for the display which is alot better than I was getting) Prior to the upgrade I was running the display at 30%ish, but have had it on auto since the upgrade to see if its any better. Very happy.

This leads me to believe that one of the apps that I had installed was draining the battery as opposed to the OS. I reinstalled most of my apps after the upgrade, but switched battery widgets and didn't reinstall some other oddball apps. Still leaves the list fairly long to know for sure though.

The only app I've found that seems to hang on me now is YouTube. Had it freeze up on me last night, but other than that, I've been happy. No more FC on the battery manager or maps yet (knock on wood).

I agree with this. I have had both leaked and OTA and I haven't had issues with either...

so should I roll it back and get the OTA or stick with the leaked. Also how hard was it to roll it back?

If you do a search, there are a few threads floating around with a "how to" on the rollback. Droid Life has a very easy one to follow.

I'm still operating on the leaked version, personally. I have seen a few issues here and there and I'm waiting a little bit of time to pass before I attempt since mine is currently running perfectly. Plus I've been busy with work and personal life so haven't taken the time to really sit down and dial mine back yet

Did this...once when I sbf'd back to 2.1 from the leak and again after I noticed all the issues I was having with the ota (with multiple battery pulls in there as well) Still, the problems remain. Im either rooting or going back to the leak this weekend. Havent decided yet, but for moto and vzw to make us wait this long for the official ota (I mean this much longer than EVERY other android phone on the market that got 2.2) I am very very disappointed in the result. Makes me wonder what the hell they were really waiting for because it sure the hell wasnt to make sure all the bugs were fixed.
