Help 2 problems that might be just a simple fix

For some reason every couple of weeks my phone wants me to set the time zone despite it being already set in the settings, this cant be normal can it

also my home screen has the time on it and it used to display my location eg i have it set to display my home town but the location has disappeared

How does it ask you to set the time zone? Do you use network set values in your date/time settings?

Whenever I went on the underground, or anywhere that would lose all reception for more than a few minutes, I'd have this problem. I solved it by going to settings, date and time, and unchecking 'automatic'. Means it wont change automatically if you move countries, but it's not so difficult to change it manually.
