Help Autofocus?

My iphone 4 has autofocus, whenever I point the camera at something it will focus on the object. When I do the same with the fascinate it will not do anything until I tap the screen and then it will focus. Am I missing some setting or is this camera not a true autofocus device?

AutoFocus is the action of focusing without you adjusting focus settings manually. So yes, the phone has autofocus, however, you must press the camera button until the frame turns green and then let go to take the picture once the auto focus does its job.
