How many scenes can I save?

I've recently discovered the joy of launcherpro plus and the freedom it gives me but I wanted to know how many "scenes" I can save so I can keep experimenting without losing my creations?
When I go to "Personalize" and "Scenes" in the settings options, it doesnt seem to want to let me save my current setup!?!?

Any help is appreciated....

"scenes" are for HTC sense launcher, not launcherpro. From the homescreen, press menu then preferences. These are the launcherpro settings.

You can back up your configuration but there isn't an alternative to scenes in launcher pro.

So if I use the backup option, can I "save" more than one and restore whichever I feel like?
Also there is a message that says icons are not saved due to restrictions on the Android system (or something like that) - if this is right, what exactly does it backup??

I'm pretty sure it's just widgets that won't work...

I'm not 100% sure how it works, but you could try backing up and seeing if you can find anything new on your sd card. If you know where it backs up to, you can take that off your sd card and save it onto your computer. If you need to restore that one, put it back on your sd card in the same place...

Yeah, but if you put the backup on your computer, you could have multiple backups?

You could move to another directory on the SD card...
