Root SD Card Partition

Hi

I'm using a Leedroid build ROM but I did not partiton my SD card for A2SD before the install, I noticed that this was detected and skipped automatically. Now that I have partitioned my card how do I make my ROM recognise both partitions?

Try a reboot, but i got an idea you may have to do a factory reset to get it to recognize the ext

Factory reset or even a wipe and reflash.

Since you're using the same rom though, you should be able to backup and restore everything using titanium backup with no problems.

I have just flashed the Leedroid 2.2d build, partitioned a 16GB card as best as I know how - Disk Utility/Linux, and my Desire still only recognizes one partition! Does anyone have any pointers?

what do you mean it only recognises one partition? how do you know?
did you flash a2sd leedrod 2.2d prior to partition or after?

Errm..........(feels the water getting hot)! I've just partitioned using ROM Manager which seems to have worked, I tried this method on the other ROM build and I used to get an error! I did a 512, and a 0 swap. I've re-installed all my apps and I no longer get a low mem warning! How do I know for definite that its working?

download quick system info and it will tell you how much a2sd storage is being used.
i wondered how knew it wasnt being seen by the device before


also make sure you set froyo install location to 1 as otherwise it kinda messes up with install locations on leedroid

use ADB and do
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 1

Right? I go and read up on that and I'll get back to you Rastaman. System info says I have over 200mb off apps installed! Christ on a bike! 200mb? I cant help thinkin of my old ZX Spectrum with a massive 64k!!!!

I rooted my Desire yesterday and installed Leedroid. Everything is fine except that my SD card has become 'read only'. Can anyone tell me how to fix this???
