Cannot add another gmail account to Gmail app. Is there a limit?

I have 6 gmail accounts set up in the Gmail app. Never had a problem adding accounts until now. When I try to add another account, it seems to try setting up the account, and then returns the following error:
"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server."

I have tried multiple times and always get the same error. Data is always turned on and I have a good signal.

Logging into youtube by itself didn't do it. But afterward, I tried setting up the account in gmail app again, and it worked!
