After hours of careful manipulation here is the alignment of the second screen pretty much sorted.
The pics at the top is one image placed inside a single Widget.
The text inside the blocks are 4 separate Widgets.

Respek to paulmz who is a master of these Widgets.
I've had enough already :D

I think this has worked out fine as an alternative.

Now for the other 5 screens :D

How many rows do you have on your homescreen? I count at least 7.

I see maths is not your strongpoint :) just kidding lol

I generally set it to 10 columns, 10 rows.
Occassionally when I have designed around columns, I'll use 6 or 7 columns where I need a wider format to place transparent widgets over the wallpaper.

In this case I have moved away from designing on a scrollable multiscreen image in favour this time of a non-scrollable screen, but with different widgets containing images / text for all 7 screens (others still to be done ... hopefully this decade :D )

In fact there are 10 rows.

I am aboout to change my background/theme for something a little more minimalistic. Thought I'd post the background and a few screenshots.

Set as scrolling wall paper (althoughtthis is an old one -I have put other things in the book cases and used transparent widgets over the top since)

icons for messaging, email, and internet as wall painting/photos. BBC news and sports news as shelf photos

Other screens are similar with icons on shelves or in book case. Some have widgets overlying as I am a sucker for a good widget.

Simple/minimalist here I come:)
